Safeguarding and Online Safety software

Identify, support and protect vulnerable students

With NetSupport’s online safety and safeguarding software solutions, your school has the tools to monitor trending topics in your school, track vulnerable students, evidence and report on triggered events, add a protective layer for all students – and more!

Choose from our two solutions

On-premise online safety with IT Management, plus optional classroom management

Cloud-based online safety with IT management and classroom management.

“We needed to find ways to protect our students from accessing inappropriate material online without negatively impacting their learning experience. I can check what a specific user has been searching for on the internet, should a member of staff have a concern.”

Swinton High School

“Your software alerted me to a student that was looking up ways to kill one’s self. I was able to connect with the students’ mother and that student is now getting the help that they need. THANK YOU, I’m scared to think what might have happened had I not had this program.”

St Matthew School

Take your school’s online safety to the next level

Improve your digital citizenship, student eSafety and social-emotional learning!

NetSupport works closely with schools, staff and students to create a range of proactive and reactive tools that are relevant, effective and, most importantly, up to date.

With the tools you need to identify students at risk, prevent them from being exposed to inappropriate online content, encourage greater digital citizenship and wellbeing, enforce Acceptable Use Policies and fulfil your safeguarding duties, these two solutions do it all – in line with KCSIE/CIPA guidance and operated independently of the IT team.

Monitor activity and trends

Monitor Activity and trends

Keyword monitoring
If a safeguarding keyword is triggered, it’s captured immediately (available as a log, screen screenshot/screen video recording and more).

Word cloud of trending topics
Schools can see which topics are trending across the school via a word cloud, and hold assemblies or group sessions to tackle these issues.

Language packs
Keyword language packs are included to support schools with students learning English as an additional language (EAL).

School-wide safety
The internet metering tools (including age-appropriate internet controls) help to monitor, protect and educate students on positive digital behaviour. (Only available with NetSupport DNA)

Monitor activity and trends

Identify vulnerable students

Contextual intelligence
Identify genuine concerns via a numerical risk index based on the context and history of a student’s activities.

Track ‘at risk’ student activity
Vulnerable students can be flagged and tracked as an extra layer of support and a ‘history of concerns’ is available for each student. (Only available with NetSupport DNA)

Identify Vulnerable students
Empower staff and students

Empower your students and staff

Student ‘Report a concern’
Students can share their problems and get help from staff without having to approach them in person.

Online resources
Providing students with independent access to a tailored list of safeguarding resources can further support student empowerment.

Teacher ‘Add a concern’
Where teachers are verbally told of a student’s concern, they can now add the concern and choose the member of staff to report it to. (Only available with NetSupport DNA)
