Special guests

Founded in April 2014 by two school Network Managers (Rick Cowell and Ben Whitaker), the ANME (Association of Network Managers in Education) is free to join and arranges termly meetings and conferences for network managers in education, helping them make time for networking and general IT discussions, as well as looking at new products and meeting new suppliers.

Organised by Rick who is still a full time Network Manager in a secondary school (running the ANME voluntarily in his spare time) why not drop by stand D130 to learn more and say hello.

Created from the award-winning eCadets programme, GoBubble is a safe social media platform that allows young children (under 13) to take advantage of the best bits of social media without any of the negative aspects. With GoBubble children can chat online with school friends, share jokes, pictures or videos and learn about different cultures by making new friends of the same age from around the world. The web and app version of GoBubble is available free to schools.

Drop by stand D130 to meet the founder of GoBubble, former police sergeant Henry Platten, and see how the free app can help your school foster great digital citizens.

Russell has been designing School Radio Stations for over 10 years and knows just what young people want and Educators need from a Radio Station.  Without going overboard with incredibly expensive equipment, he’s carefully put together a solution that all of your Pupils will be able to use without instruction!  This is not about teaching young folks to be radio stars, quite the opposite, this is about motivating and inspiring a passion for speech and language and improving the outcomes for written work. Stop by stand D130 and see Russell in action on NetSupport Radio and see how Radio can benefit your school.
