Let’s show our support for Mental Health Awareness Week
In the UK, this week marks Mental Health Awareness Week. Founded by the Mental Health Foundation in 2001, it aims to bring awareness to focusing on good mental health. The theme this year is ‘community’.
With the goal of celebrating the power and importance of community, the Mental Health Foundation wants to remind everyone how being part of a positive, safe community is good for our mental health. Creating strong connections with people in your community ensures that you are not alone and have the support of others.
How can you get involved?
It’s easy, you can celebrate the power of community with loads of helpful resources provided by the Mental Health Foundation. Plus, you can join in on the celebration on Wear It Green Day (or organise your own with your company), which occurs this Thursday 15 May. Let’s go green for good mental health!
At NetSupport, we understand the value of a positive community. Our company thrives on building good relationships with its staff and the surrounding community members. Let’s work together to make mental health and wellbeing a priority in our communities!
