Welcome back to another episode of Insights with NetSupport! The Insights series aims to provide an interesting and relevant topic and a special guest who can shine some expert knowledge on to the subject so we can all learn something new to help.
Inside this Insights with NetSupport episode
In this episode of Insights, we were delighted to welcome Alice Lacey, CEO and co-founder of Now Press Play Tilly Brooke, Chief Operating Officer at Now Press Play! Following on from Kat Cauchi’s recent article in R.I.S.E. magazine (check it out here!) about using audio in the classroom, the dynamic pair (check Tilly’s cartwheel antics at Bett) shared their thoughts about the power of using audio in the classroom for a variety of purposes.
Lacey shared, “Audio is a really underused resource in the classroom” and continued, along with Cauchi and Brooke to share a variety of ways it can be used to promote creative writing, increase engagement, reduce distractions and poor behaviours for learning and can help with inclusion. Cauchi also shared about how powerful feedback can be when recorded as audio, which when sharing with parents can improve home/school relations and can also be more accessible for many families.

In addition to the Insights shared, a free CPD resource created by Now Press Play with our Head of Education, Mark Anderson, is also available for viewers who might wish to learn more about immersive audio in the classroom. You can access the resource by clicking here.
All three share some great ideas around using audio in the classroom so be sure to check out the episode of Insights with NetSupport.
