With a Master’s degree in Education, Alex is someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the world. It’s part of the reason why he became a teacher and his passion for education sees him sharing far beyond his school walls too, being an experienced speaker at conferences and events where he shares his “Teaching DEEP” principles around teaching and learning.

One key takeaway from the episode was the importance of challenge in both sports coaching and teaching. Alex talked about how in the classroom, as in sports, you must be able to adapt your teaching methods to suit the needs of the individual students – one of the cornerstones of adaptive teaching.
