For the final day of Bett 2023, NetSupport Radio had an outstanding guestlist – and a truly compelling show!
First in the guest hotseat was Al Kingsley, talking about talking about the diverse range of EdTech startups showcasing their products in the Bett Futures area, as well as the professional development seminars on offer this year. He also chatted about the NetSupport team’s activities, the video content produced so far, the ANME (guests on the NetSupport stand) and last but not least, NetSupport Radio!
Next, we heard from guests including: Jane Basnet, who discussed how technology can help students stand out; Nick Causton from STEAM Co championing creativity in schools; Jeremy Waters from Elastik Learning talking about data interpretation; and author, Beverly Clarke, who gave us an insight into her tech-themed books for children.
Our star guest was none other than children’s author, Michael Rosen, who talked about his upcoming book, discussed how to improve the creative writing experience for students, and commented on the importance of reading for pleasure.
And that wasn’t all! Host, Russell Prue, also chatted with Maria Wojciechowska-Caneda from Arco Iris Learning; Ian Phillips from Inspir-Edu; Emma Hawker from Governors for Schools; Dr Dave Whiley; Myles Piling; students from Lanchester EP Primary School and Jonathan Bhowmick from Action Mats.
