Created in 1995 by UNESCO, World Book Day is meant to encourage people to read more in their everyday lives and discover the joy of reading. There are loads and loads of amazing books that are available to choose from – so take your pick and join in!
Why is World Book Day so important?
Reading is a skill that should be instilled in us from a young age and continue to foster as we grow. Encouraging young children to read not only helps inspire creativity and boost imagination, but also enhances vocabulary and literacy.
