In the UK, today is recognised as Youth Mental Health Day; an event that aims to raise awareness and understanding of mental health in young people.  

This year, it is especially important to acknowledge this topic and discuss how to improve mental health, given that students have experienced many stressors due to cancelled classes, unexpected lockdowns or having to move to remote learning.  

The theme for this year is #StrideForward – encouraging young people to share their voices to help improve mental health going forward.
