Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Awareness Week (18th-24th May 2020) aims to raise awareness and start a national conversation about Mental Health in the UK.
This year’s theme of kindness was chosen ‘because of its singular ability to unlock our shared humanity’. The Mental Health Foundation says that, ‘Kindness strengthens relationships, develops community and deepens solidarity. It is a cornerstone of our individual and collective mental health’.
Helping schools to identify and support students who are experiencing mental health issues, is school IT asset management solution, NetSupport DNA. With its built-in safeguarding module containing features such as keyword monitoring, schools gain an insight into what students are typing, copying or searching for online, whilst tracking application use for context. Alerts can also be triggered for terms deemed by the school as being of high severity, meaning staff can take action swiftly.
