Sir David explains what visitors can expect to hear in his presentation ‘The importance of leadership’ at Bett 2020 on 23rd January at 4.15pm in the Education Show Theatre.
“How are we going to ensure that we have a pipeline of brilliant men and women who want to come into school leadership? It’s a tough and challenging job, but it’s the most rewarding role there is, I think, in public service. And so the work I do now at Ambition Institute is focused on developing new chief executives of Trusts and new directors of education who are responsible for school improvement – but also that transition from being a classroom teacher into taking on roles that help develop other people as teachers and help create great schools for young people to go to.”
