Summary

To assist in the Migration from TCO Helpdesk to DNA Helpdesk NetSupport Ltd have produced a tool to enable Tickets to be Migrated from TCO helpdesk to DNA Helpdesk.

Details

What Data is Migrated

When the Migration tool in run it will Create a New Ticket in the DNA helpdesk for each ticket it finds in the TCO Helpdesk. TCO Problem types and Solution types are only migrated if they are used on a Ticket in the TCO helpdesk. Any Users or Operators that are associated to TCO Helpdesk Tickets are Migrated to the DNA Helpdesk.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the TCO Migration tool setup.exe (link at the bottom of this document)
  2. Run the Setup.exe on the DNA Helpdesk server.
  3. From the Windows Start Menu run the TCO Migration Tool.
  4. Enter the details of the TCO Helpdesk Database server, Database names and User Id and Password to connect to the TCO Helpdesk Database.
