Summary
In NetSupport Manager the client will use the default sound card to audibly indicate when a client is being viewed. If a sound card is installed but not connected there is no audible indication for the client.
Details
The NetSupport Client can be configured to use the built in system speaker to do this follow the procedure below:
- Find and open the file called Client32.ini, this file is found in the NetSupport Installation folder.
- Open the file in Notepad or any other text editor
- At the bottom of the [Client] section type the following parameter:
- SoundWhileViewed=750,500
- Save the File
- Re-checksum the file following the instructions at Manually editing the Client32.ini file
Note:
SoundWhileViewed option =frequency in hertz /duration inmillisec
