It was another triumphant night for NetSupport at the 2009 Network Computing Awards held at the Tower Hotel, London.

With NetSupport Manager and NetSupport Protect scooping awards at last years event it was NetSupport DNA Helpdesk's turn to join the roll of honour as it beat off stiff competition from the likes of EMC Infra, Hornbill's Supportworks and Numara Software's Track-IT to be named Service Management Product Of The Year.

And NetSupport came agonisingly close to repeating last years double success with NetSupport Notify being named runner-up in the New Product Of The Year category.

Having overseen the development of DNA Helpdesk from day one it was fitting that Andy Gibbons was on hand to collect the trophy and he was naturally delighted to receive this latest addition to NetSupport's impressive list of industry awards;

"Our 20th anniversary year couldn't have started better in terms of the continued recognition NetSupport and its products receive. Our export success in the education market was rewarded in January by the BETT Awards and once again our customers and Network Computing's readership have given our products enormous backing. As with last year, it was a great achievement to again be short-listed in several categories but I'm obviously delighted that coming hot on the heels of the recent launch of version 2.8 that DNA Helpdesk has overcome some major players in the Service Management environment to win this award."
