London's Park Lane Hilton was the setting for this year's prestigious BETT Awards and NetSupport are proud to have been named ICT Exporter of the Year.

Judged by the Education and Skills team at UK Trade and Investment, the award is presented to the company that demonstrates an outstanding record of export success in ICT products or services to the education market.

After receiving the award NetSupport's Education Product Manager Matt Jones commented, "To be named ICT Exporter of the Year ahead of such strong competition ranks as one of the major highlights in NetSupport’s 20 year history and a lot of credit must go to our product development team and international channel division who work so hard to promote our software overseas."

In a hotly contested category, NetSupport overcame stiff competition from among others Promethean, Serco Learning and Sibelius.

Judges Comments
The winner was chosen because of the range of differing markets that they operate in; their entry into new developing markets - requiring significant commitment; the strategic approach in localising products by working in partnership with local education providers and key decision makers; and in the use of feedback from customers to further enhance their product development. This has ensured that the company's export growth remains impressive and accounts for a large proportion of annual turnover.
